Objectives:
This program aims to:
- Prepare graduates to become leaders in their area of specialization with skills and knowledge in quality improvement, caseload management, team leadership, and working in a complex health and social care system.
- Provide graduates with specialist and advanced level leadership knowledge and skills.
- Offer graduates the option to complete the V300 program and register with the NMC as a Non-Medical prescriber.
- Tailor learning through the selection of optional modules.
- Provide a supportive interdisciplinary environment with other community nurses.

The program is a blended learning program, with half the time spent working in a Health Visiting team and half the time spent in university theory. It includes alternative practice and spoke days across wider community services to enrich learning.

- Employed for more than 30 hours a week
- English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above or recognised equivalent
- Employed in an appropriate nursing position with an approved apprenticeship partner
- Right to work in England and meet the Residency Eligibility criteria
