Program Overview
The program includes a required course, a choice of one elective from a list of designated MCH electives, and six additional elective credits. Graduates are prepared for careers in managing governmental MCH programs or working with new families through community-based organizations.

Program of Study (12 credits)
- Required Course (3 credits): Introduction to Maternal and Child Health
- At least one of the following (3 credits):
- Reproductive and Perinatal Epidemiology
- Reproductive Environmental Health
- Adolescent Health
- Global Maternal & Child Health
- Child Health Promotion
- Electives (6 credits):
- Choose from a list of designated electives that relate to maternal and child health (MCH).
- Courses will encompass at least two different disciplines.
- Selected examples of designated MCH electives include: Anthropology of Gender, AIDS Epidemiology, Addiction and Public Health, Human Rights, and Reproductive Justice.
