Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


Domestic Applicants:

  • Degree graduates: Entry is open to degree graduates of any discipline.
  • Equivalent experience: Applicants without a degree may be considered for entry if they have significant relevant practical, professional, or educational experience.

International Applicants:

  • Academic requirements: Applicants must have completed a secondary school qualification that provides access to university in their home country, or an equivalent qualification.
  • English language proficiency: Applicants whose first language is not English, or who have not completed their education in an English-speaking country, must provide evidence of meeting one of the following English language proficiency requirements:
  • NCEA Level 3 with University Entrance (New Zealand)
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma or Cambridge A-level qualification (English as the medium of instruction)
  • Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA)
  • Trinity College London Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CertTESOL)
