Entry Requirements:

School Leavers:

  • Minimum age of 16 years
  • NCEA Level 1
  • A desire to work as a makeup artist in various industries

Mature Applicants:

  • Over 20 years at the time of enrollment
  • Applicants may be admitted based on:
  • Evidence of successful completion of a Level 3 or above program in a related discipline
  • One or more years of employment in the related sector
  • Personal commitment and belief in their ability to succeed

International Students (Outside New Zealand)


English Language Requirements:

  • Evidence of achieving one of the following:
  • NCEA Level 3 with University Entrance
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma or Cambridge A-level qualification with English instruction
  • CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or Trinity CertTESOL (Trinity College London Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
  • Completion of primary and at least three years of secondary education in English-speaking countries (New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, UK, USA)
