Assessment:
Assessment methods may vary depending on the paper but can include tests, assignments, case studies, presentations, reports and final examinations. Third-year students may be required to complete research proposals, literature review, research report and/or presentation. All assessment requirements must be completed by the advised time and date.
Teaching:
The mode of teaching is blended, combining distance learning with occasional in-person sessions depending on the paper and location. The program utilizes qualified industry professionals and academics as facilitators.
Careers:
Graduates with a major in Project Management will be prepared to work as project managers or in project-related roles across various sectors, including public and private organizations. Specific roles may include project manager, project coordinator, project officer, business analyst and program manager.
Other:
- Students are required to use a project management software (not provided by SIT).
- The course delivery mode may change to a fully online format in some circumstances, following SIT policies and procedures.
- The SIT Zero Fee Scheme may cover tuition fees for eligible New Zealand or permanent resident students, but direct material cost of $7 per credit applies.
