Domestic Students (New Zealand Citizens and Permanent Residents):


University Entrance:

  • Three subjects at Level 3 or above, including:
  • 14 credits each in three approved subjects
  • Literacy: 10 credits at Level 2 or above (5 credits in reading, 5 in writing)
  • Numeracy: 10 credits at Level 1 or above (specified achievement standards through various subjects or unit standards - package of three numeracy unit standards 26623, 26626, 26627 - all three required)

Alternative Entry:

  • Applicants over 20 years can be considered based on:
  • Successful completion of a program of study at Level 4 or above
  • AND commitment to a sporting code
  • AND/OR recent experience in a sport and exercise related capacity (sports business, gym, etc.)

Additional Requirements:

  • Police vetting for criminal convictions (may impact placement opportunities)

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5
