Program Overview
This AutoCAD course enhances students' knowledge of the software, enabling them to produce professional-quality 2D and 3D drawings. It covers advanced features such as blocks, Xref drawings, templates, and 3D modeling. The course is suitable for students with prior 2D AutoCAD experience and is compatible with both PC and Mac versions of the software.

As well as building on the core Draw and Modification tools, this course explores other AutoCAD features and tools that will enable you to produce high quality drawings to a professional standard. This course in AutoCAD is for those looking to enhance their knowledge of the software leading to a more professional quality of their drawings. It is aimed at students who already have an understanding of 2D AutoCAD and are familiar with the interface, the 'draw' and 'modification' tools and some of the other commands such as layers, viewports and dimensions. Prior 3D knowledge is not needed as this is taught as new.

- Blocks and WBlocks, Attributes, Data Extraction & Dynamic Blocks
- Xref Drawings – Enabling two or more drawings/users to be linked together and worked on at the same time.
- Templates, Layers, Dimensions, Text, Annotative – Creating a personal CAD template
- Line type, Script Files, Plot styles, Colour Dependent Plot Styles

- UCS - User Coordinate System
- 3D - Drawing Solid Modelling – Boolean commands
