Business Management, Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship
is a BSc (Hons) degree at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) that focuses on the application of new technology or the introduction of innovative products and services in a turbulent environment. You will explore the economics of digital business and learn how the characteristics of innovative businesses differ from those of traditional businesses. You will develop the ability to recognize and manage the unique challenges that arise with disruptive innovation. The program also covers the opportunities and threats associated with disruptive innovation for established organizations.

Year 1:
Students take 8 core modules in Year 1, earning a total of 120 credits. The modules are:
- Introduction to Management: This module provides an introduction to management and organisational behaviour. Students will study the evolution of management concepts and discuss their current relevance to their future careers as managers.
- Business Economics: This module covers the fundamentals of economics. Students will learn about economic concepts and their applications in decision making by managers.
- Critical Analysis for Business: This module equips students with the critical thinking skills necessary to analyze a large amount of business-related information. Students will study literature relevant to business management and develop sophisticated evaluation and interpretation skills.
- Quantitative Methods and Analytics: This module covers the fundamentals of quantitative and statistical techniques. Students will learn the foundations of business analytics and gain a thorough understanding of statistical techniques, their applications, and the use of big data, data visualization, and database applications.
- Operations and Supply Chain Management: This module covers operational techniques that companies use. Students will learn about supply chains and how to optimize business operations.

Students take 5 core modules and choose 2 specialist modules and 1 elective module in Year 2, earning a total of 120 credits. The modules are:

- Final-year project or corporate responsibility project: Students will carry out a significant independent project to apply what they have learned throughout the course to their chosen business management issue. The chosen subject should be relevant to the specialization they are taking. Students can apply for the corporate responsibility option, which allows them to work on their project alongside the Corporate Social Responsibility department within an organization.
- Research methods and data analysis: Provides students with an understanding of research methods to help them conduct independent work within their degree and future careers. Students will learn how to set up research projects, interpret and analyze data, draw conclusions, and present their findings.
- Business in society: This module explores the role of business within society as a whole. Students will learn about broader ethical issues and the connections between businesses and a wide range of stakeholders.
