The Carpenter - Apprenticeship Program at St. Lawrence College is an 8-week block program that provides training in carpentry skills. Requirements:

Careers:

  • Registered apprentices who successfully finish their first or second year in a Red Seal trade can apply for the Apprenticeship Incentive Grant (AIG) of $1,000 per year/level up to a maximum of $2,000.
  • Registered apprentices who complete their training and become a certified journeyperson can apply for the Apprenticeship Completion Grant (ACG) of $2,000.
  • Carpentry is considered a Red Seal trade, making the program eligible for apprenticeship grants.
