Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


Ontario High School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent:

  • Completion of Grade 12 English at the C, U, or E level
  • Completion of Grade 11 Math

Additional requirements for international students:

  • Completion of a high school diploma equivalent to an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  • Documentation of English proficiency:
  • IELTS Academic test with a minimum score of 6.5 overall, with no band score below 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT test with a minimum score of 88, with no section score below 20
  • CanTEST test with a minimum score of 4.5 in each component
  • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with a minimum score of 61

Please note:

  • Some international students may be required to complete an English as a Second Language (ESL) program before they can begin their studies in the Computer Programming program.
  • Students who are missing prerequisite courses may be able to enroll in the Career/College Prep program, which is free for Ontario residents who are 19 years or older.

  • Technical requirements: Students are recommended to have their own Windows laptop computer with the following specifications:
  • CPU: i5 minimum, i7 or AMD Ryzen recommended
  • RAM: 12GB RAM minimum, 16GB recommended
