Degree Overview:


This tuition-free, accelerated program aims to prepare individuals for a career as a Brick and Stone Mason.

The program runs from September 7th to December 24th, 2021, and covers everything required to become a Level 1 apprentice. Participants will also receive three micro-credentials and have the opportunity to participate in an 8-week paid placement.

  • Develop skills and knowledge in constructing and repairing structures with bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and similar materials.
  • Earn three valuable micro-credentials.

This program is designed to provide participants with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to enter the Brick and Stone Masonry trade. It covers both theoretical and practical aspects, focusing on Level 1 in-class training, basic carpentry skills, and safety protocols.

  • The program is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD).
  • Graduates are automatically recognized as MLTSD-funded pre-apprentices by the Ministry.
