Program Overview


The Maritime Deck Technology Certificate is a USCG-approved program that combines practical experience with coursework in nautical science, computation, communication, and human relations. Graduates receive certificates approved by the USCG in lieu of exams for national endorsements, including Able Seaman and Lifeboatman. The program offers daytime, weekend, evening, online, and hybrid formats, and includes a 90-day at-sea internship on a commercial vessel.
