Program Overview


The Scandinavian Studies Postgraduate Research program at the University of Aberdeen offers research opportunities in Old Norse-Icelandic Literature and Culture and Early Scandinavian history and archaeology. The program is available by distance learning, part-time, or full-time on campus, and provides joint supervision in archaeological and other projects. The University of Aberdeen has the largest concentration of experts on early Scandinavia in the British Isles, marked by the Centre for Scandinavian Studies (CfSS).
