Program Description:

The Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) program is an intensive (32-hours per week) didactic program lasting 16 weeks, followed by five (5) weeks of Clinical Internship in a hospital (40-hours per week), and then eight (8) weeks of Field Externship as a practicing Paramedic under the guidance and supervision of a Paramedic Field Preceptor.


Assessment:

  • To remain in the program, students must maintain a grade of “C” (80 percent) or better in all courses and receive a grade of “C” (80 percent) or better on all final exams.

Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:
