Program Overview
The Language Arts Emphasis program at Mt. San Antonio College provides students with a comprehensive understanding of language acquisition and usage through reading, writing, listening, and speaking in diverse environments. Students can tailor their studies by selecting courses in language and culture, literature and expression, and foundational language acquisition. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively communicate and engage with diverse audiences.

Degree Overview:
An emphasis in Language Arts provides the student with an understanding of the acquisition of language with a focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking with a diverse environment. In addition to the foundational language acquisition courses, students select personal options that will strengthen their individual interest and goals within Language Arts.
