Program Overview

The Agriculture Animal Science for Transfer Degree provides students with a comprehensive understanding of animal behavior, husbandry, production, and services. Through a hands-on approach, the program prepares students for entry-level employment in animal agriculture or transfer to a four-year institution. To earn an associate degree for transfer, students must complete 60 semester units, including the IGETC pattern or CSU GE breadth, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in CSU-transferable coursework.
