• Structure:
• The module consists of seven sessions scheduled over thirteen weeks, delivered through a mix of lectures and workshops.
• Study time generally involves 6 hours of direct contact time every other week for one semester.
• Each 15-credit course (module) is expected to take 150 hours to complete, including:
• 36 hours of directed contact learning
• 36 hours of independent study
• 78 hours of assessment, including preparation
• Assessment:
• The assessment for this course comprises a group presentation and a design portfolio.
• Teaching:
• The module is delivered through classes introducing transport infrastructure design principles, site visits, and design workshops where students apply these principles to real-world projects.
