High School Placement Programmes

Program Overview

LILA's High School Placement Programmes offer students aged 13-16 an immersive experience in British education and culture. Participants can choose between a 13-week Short Programme or a 3-week Taster Programme, both of which include English tuition, high school placement, full-board accommodation, and guardianship. The program aims to enhance English language skills, provide cultural immersion, and offer a taste of British secondary education.

• The program offers two options:
• Short High School Placement Programme:
13 weeks
• High School Taster Programme:
3 weeks
• Both options include:
• 1 week of General English tuition and orientation at LILA*
• Placement at a leading local high school or college:
• Short programme:
12 weeks
• Taster programme:
3 weeks
• Full-board accommodation with a local host
• Full guardianship during the stay, including weekly personal tutor sessions
• Full access to LILA* facilities and social programme throughout the stay
• Pre-arrival level test
• Certificate and personal reference upon completion (short programme only)
