Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

  • A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in any subject.
  • Relevant professional experience in the museum, gallery and heritage sectors may be considered.
  • Applicants may be required to attend an interview in person, via telephone or Zoom.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

The University's English Language requirements are as follows:

  • IELTS: 6.5 overall, with no less than 5.5 in any component.
  • Pearsons: 54 overall, with no less than 51 in any component.
  • TOEFL: 90 overall, with no less than 20 in any component.

Pre-Sessional Entry:

  • Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be able to complete a pre-sessional English course at the University.
  • Pre-sessional courses are offered in both 6 and 10-week formats.

Fees:

  • Home students: £7,200 per year for full-time students and £3,600 per year for part-time students.
  • International students: £15,670 per year for full-time students.

Funding:

  • Students who are offered a place on the course will be required to pay a deposit of £1,500.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, but will be deducted from the student's tuition fees when they register.
