Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


EU Home Students:

  • At least a 2:2 undergraduate degree from a recognized university.
  • Candidates with non-academic qualifications and backgrounds, on the basis of highly relevant work experience or demonstrated interest, are also considered.
  • Candidates with more than three years' work experience will be considered.

International Overseas Students:

  • Meet the same requirements as EU Home Students.
  • English Language Proficiency Requirements

General requirements:

  • Submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a supporting statement with your application.
  • May be able to receive an offer in principle if you meet the entry criteria and have studied in the UK, Canada, USA, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE.
  • A member of the team will provide feedback or an offer in principle within 48 hours.

English Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • For non-native English speakers, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level.
  • Acceptable tests include:
  • IELTS Academic:
  • 6.5 overall with no subtests under 6.0
  • TOEFL (ibt, mybest or athome):
  • 79; with Reading 13; Listening 12; Speaking 18; Writing 21
  • Pearsons PTE Academic:
  • 59 with minimum 59 in all subtests
  • Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE)
  • and
  • Cambridge Advanced English (CAE):
  • 176 overall, no subtest less than 169
  • Oxford English Test:
  • Oxford ELLT 7 with R&L: OIDI level no less than 6 with Reading: 21-24 Listening: 15-17 and W&S: OIDI level no less than 6.

Alternative to English Language qualification:

  • Degree from a majority-English speaking country (as defined by the UKVI)
  • Undergraduate 2+2 degree from a majority-English speaking country (as defined by the UKVI)
