Entry Requirements:


EU Home Students:

  • A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Three letters of recommendation from professors who can speak to your academic performance and research potential.
  • A personal statement outlining your research interests and how the WWU M.S.
  • program in chemistry will help you achieve your goals.
  • Completion of the following undergraduate courses with a grade of B or better:
  • General Chemistry I and II
  • Organic Chemistry I and II
  • Physical Chemistry I
  • A course in laboratory techniques

International Students Outside the EU:

  • All of the requirements listed above for EU Home Students.
  • Official transcripts translated into English.
  • Evidence of English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE score).
  • A financial statement demonstrating your ability to cover tuition and living expenses.
