Illinois Tech's Master of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering program empowers students to enhance their technical versatility and pursue career path changes. Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


Domestic Students (UK, EU, and Channel Islands):

  • A good honours degree (1st or 2:1 classification) in dental technology from a UK higher education institution, or an equivalent qualification from an overseas institution.

Exceptions:

  • Applicants with alternative qualifications who are supported by industry experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

International Students (Outside the EU):

  • A good honours degree (1st or 2:1 classification) in dental technology from a UK higher education institution, or an equivalent qualification from an overseas institution.
  • Evidence of English language proficiency, typically an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in all elements, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Applicants may be required to provide additional information about their industry experience or other relevant qualifications.

Language Proficiency Requirements:


International Students (Outside the EU):

  • Evidence of English language proficiency is required, typically an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in all elements, or an equivalent qualification.

Please note:

  • The university may accept other English language qualifications in addition to IELTS.
