Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


EU Home Students:

  • BSc in Food Science/Technology or relevant honours degree in science.
  • Occasionally, applicants with degrees in other disciplines may be considered if they can demonstrate substantial senior-level experience within the food industry.
  • All candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant setting.
  • All candidates must be working in a food and/or drink manufacturing environment to enable them to apply the practical elements of the assignments.
  • The program is not suitable for entry directly after graduation or for applicants who are seeking a Masters level program in order to move into the food manufacturing industry.

International Overseas Students (Outside EU): In addition to the requirements listed above for EU Home Students, international overseas students must also:

  • Provide evidence of English language fluency to at least an IELTS 6.0 standard or equivalent.
