Belmont University's Social Media Management program

is one of the first undergraduate degrees of its kind in the nation. This program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead organizations in optimizing their social media presence.


Program Objectives:

  • Hone content creation skills for engaging audiences.
  • Manage social media strategically for organizational success.

Program Description:

  • Combines traditional classroom learning with real-world experience through internships and Tower Creative Communications, Belmont's student-run agency.
  • Focuses on developing five key areas: Relationship Building & Strategic Planning, Research & Analytics, Content Creation, Engagement & Community Management, Leadership, Ethics & Law.
  • Prepares graduates for a variety of careers in the social media field.

Curriculum:

  • Leads to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
