Entry Requirements:
Canadian Applicants:

Mature Applicants:
- Applicants who are 19 years of age or older and have been out of high school for at least one year may be eligible for mature student status.
- Applicants must meet the program's English language proficiency requirements.
- Applicants with relevant work or life experience may be considered for admission, even if they do not meet the standard academic requirements.
- Such applicants must provide a detailed portfolio of their experience and a letter of intent outlining their reasons for wanting to pursue the program.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma:
- A minimum overall score of 24 points, with a minimum of 5 points in English A1 or A2 HL.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
UFV requires all international applicants whose first language is not English to demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following tests:
- TOEFL Internet-based test: 80 with a minimum of 20 in each section
- IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each band
- CAEL: 70 with a minimum of 60 in each band
- PTE Academic: 58 with a minimum of 50 in each section
