Revolutionise the digital media world
The subject areas of this interdisciplinary dual Bachelor's degree programme range from the production of digital content (e.g. on social media, websites and podcasts) and modules from the fields of business administration/commerce to digital transformation and digital enterprise. The programme is held in German with selected modules in English.
The modern equipment at our campuses allows you, for example, to handle a simulated social media crisis or to use our audio and TV studios to create various digital products. Our professors from academia and industry support you in the implementation of your projects and enable an effective transfer of knowledge between your practice company and the university for your successful career start.

Spotlight-Module: "Digital Transformation"
After successful completion you will understand the basics of digital transformation and disruption. You'll be able to place digital transformation in a historical context and interpret selected international scientific literature on the topic. Additionally, you grasp the fundamentals of the network economy and change management in networked companies and markets, applying these principles to practical cases.
You'll engage intensively with technological meta-trends such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology, big and smart data, blockchain, the Internet of Things including Industry 4.0, as well as virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. In addition to that you will be testing the impact of these trends through best cases in various industries and communication contexts both in Europe and selected non-European markets.
Furthermore, students review the content of marketing and digital media courses. In the end you develop visionary, practical communication ideas using your knowledge of technological meta-trends. Finally, you recognize and discuss ethical contexts and potential conflicts in light of the societal changes driven by these meta-trends.
