Entry Requirements:
A Level:
- Applicants must meet the University's General Entrance Requirements.
- Two subjects must be at A Level (grades A-E) and three at GCSE level* (grades A-C/4-9).
- Alternatively, three subjects can be at A Level (grades A-E) and one at GCSE level* (grades A-C/4-9).
- An approved qualification at an equivalent level, such as a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma or Access to Higher Education qualification, can also be considered.
- Learning gained through work or other experience can be considered, subject to the University's formal accreditation process.
GCSE:
- A GCSE pass in English Language at grade C or above (or equivalent) is required.
English Language Requirements:
- For international applicants, the minimum requirement is Academic IELTS 6.0 with no band score below 5.5.
- Trinity ISE: Pass at level III also meets this requirement.
- Ulster recognizes other acceptable English language tests and equivalent IELTS score equivalents.
International Students:
- International students must also typically demonstrate proficiency in English language skills through standardized tests such as IELTS or TOEFL. This may be assessed through a variety of methods, such as standardized tests, interviews, or academic writing samples.
