• Required Core (4 credit hours):
• MUP 527 Studio Instruction (2 hours)
• MUP 596 Solo Performance (1 hour)
• MUP 597 Solo Performance (1 hour)
• Concentration (6 credit hours):
• MUP 527 Studio Instruction (2 hours)
• Additional concentration-specific courses (4 hours)
• Area of Emphasis (10-11 credit hours):
• Students choose an area of emphasis: instrumental pedagogy, piano pedagogy, or voice pedagogy.

• Other Studies in Music (11-12 credit hours):
• 6 credit hours of music history (MHL) coursework
• 5-6 credit hours of music theory (MTC) coursework
