Health Law and Policy (Graduate Certificate)
Program Overview

Required Core (5 credit hours):
- LAW 650 Health Law (3 credits)
- LAW 651 Public Health Law (2 credits)
Electives (10 credit hours):
Students are required to choose 10 credit hours of electives from a diverse range of courses covering various aspects of health law and policy. These may include:
- Bioethics

Additional Requirements:
- Participation in at least one of the following activities:
- Student Health Law Society (as an officer)
- Jurimetrics (editorial board position)
- Health or public health law-based externships
- Research assistant for the Public Health Law and Policy program
- Writing a substantial paper (at least 15 pages) on a health or public health law topic
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 in the certificate program
