The BA Early Learning and Childcare (Graduate Apprenticeship) is a 3-year, full-time, work-based learning program offered by the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). Developed in collaboration with the sector, Scottish Government, and Skills Development Scotland, it provides a route to developing qualified and competent Early Learning and Childcare practitioners.


Objectives:

  • Produce work-ready graduates who meet the needs of the sector

  • Develop meta skills for personal and professional success
  • Lead to registration as a Practitioner with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
