English Language Requirements
- All MBA applicants who are not native English speakers must demonstrate English proficiency by meeting one of the following criteria:
- IELTS: 6.0 overall with no individual sub-test score below 5.5.
- Other Equivalent Exams:
- CAE (Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English): 176 overall, no sub-test below 169.
- CPE (Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English): 176 overall, no sub-test below 169.
- Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English: ISE II with a minimum of "Pass" in all sub-tests.
- PTE Academic: An overall score of 59 to 64 with no element below 59 (for programs requiring IELTS 6.0 with no element below 5.5).
- Specific exceptions to language requirements exist for certain degrees such as:
- Research Degrees: 6.5 overall with no sub-test below 6.0.
- Health Degrees: 7.0 overall, at least 7.0 in Reading, Listening and Speaking; 6.5 or greater in Writing. (Can also satisfy with OET)
- Nursing/Midwifery: Must also require registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
- Biomedical Degrees: 7.0 overall, no sub-test lower than 6.5.
- Certificate of Higher Education: 5.0 overall, no sub-test under 4.5
- For courses with different English requirements:
- TOEFL IBT: 78 overall with sub-test scores at least: Reading (17), Listening (17), Speaking (17), Writing (17).
- West African Senior School Certificate of Education (WASSCE): C6 or above in English.
