Program Overview

This program introduces secondary school learners to programming lighting for theatre shows and concerts using industry-standard software and equipment. Led by industry professionals, learners will gain hands-on experience and an overview of entertainment lighting. The program culminates in a self-directed project where learners apply their skills to a light show of their own design.

• One day per week over 5 weeks (Wednesdays).
• Course duration: 25 hours.
• Course schedule: 9am - 3pm each Wednesday.

• Unit Standard 32940-V17 (Level 3) (3 Credits):
Demonstrate the application of new skills achieved with self-directed learning in a digital context.

• This module allows learners to showcase their newly acquired skills through self-directed learning in a digital setting.
