Program Overview
The Digital Media Studies Advanced Diploma program equips international students with English proficiency and practical skills in digital media, including social media, marketing, branding, and design. Through a combination of theory, practice, and a co-op placement, graduates gain industry experience and are prepared for careers in digital media fields such as advertising, marketing, and web design. The program also offers pathways to further studies and eligibility for a Post-Graduate Work Permit.

Objectives:
- Enhance English proficiency.
- Develop theoretical and practical skills in various digital media aspects, including social media, digital marketing, branding, search engine optimization, and design.
- Gain practical industry experience through a co-op placement.
Description:
- Seven courses, totaling 36 credits (63 weeks).
- In-class education includes theory, practice and co-op placement.
- Emphasis on communication skills, project management, teamwork and independent learning.
- Graduates are eligible for university pathways or employment in digital media related fields.
- Students whose English proficiency falls below the minimum requirement can participate in the Intensive English for Digital Media program before entering the DMS.

- Academic Writing 2: Developing academic research skills, essay and report writing, critical analysis, referencing
- Public Speaking / Presentation Skills 2: Deliver confident and effective oral presentations
- Digital Media and Society: Understanding the impact and evolution of digital media in contemporary society
- Digital Branding: Develop brand strategies, build brand awareness and online reputation management.
- Career Development: Develop resume writing, job interview skills and career exploration strategies
- Digital Media Design: Develop basic design skills, learn design principles and software tools
