Biomedical Sciences

Program Overview

The Biomedical Sciences program at the University of Saint Mary prepares students for careers in osteopathic medicine or dentistry. Students complete foundational coursework in biology, chemistry, and the liberal arts before transitioning to the first year of either the osteopathic medicine or dental program at Kansas City University. After completing their first year at KCU, students' credits transfer back to USM, allowing them to graduate with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences. • Junior Year: 31 credits in Human Anatomy & Physiology, Physics, Microbiology, Immunology, and Statistics
