  • Prepares students for senior leadership roles in water management, enabling them to take an existing career to a strategic leadership level, work in government or environmental consultancy, or consider further research.

  • Students have the opportunity to network with water professionals and stakeholders from various groups such as the Water Research Centre (WRc Group).
  • Directed learning tasks enable preparation for class and active participation in discussions.

  • Equips leaders with the knowledge and flexibility to respond to complex problems within the integrated water, stormwater, and wastewater sectors.

  • Undertake an independent research project with guidance from a supervisor.

  • Critically assess the causes and impacts of climate change.
  • 4766 Financial Decision-Making Skills:
  • Develop sound financial decision-making skills.
  • 4767 Sustainable Water Management:
  • Gain deep knowledge of sustainable water management practices.
  • 4768 Water Policy and Governance:
  • Understand the policy and governance frameworks surrounding water management.

Course Structure:

  • Part-time: 2+ years
  • 8 core modules followed by a research project.
