The BEM201 Barista Espresso Masterclass at NMIT equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to become baristas specializing in espresso preparation. Through hands-on experience on commercial machines, participants learn the science and history of espresso, extraction techniques, and the preparation of various espresso-based beverages. Upon completion, graduates receive a Record of Participation and are prepared for employment in cafes, restaurants, and other coffee-related businesses.
