Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

To enroll in the FFT511 STCW Advanced Firefighting course at NMIT, applicants must fulfill the following prerequisites:

  • Hold an STCW Certificate of Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting: This certifies that the applicant has successfully completed the basic firefighting training required for seafarers.
