Program Overview
The Automotive Engineering MSc program, developed in collaboration with Ford and Jaguar Land Rover, equips students with the knowledge and skills for a career in the automotive sector. The program focuses on the latest technologies, including vehicle electrification, autonomy, and software development. Graduates are highly sought after by companies in the industry, with roles ranging from software engineer to engineering consultant. The program is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Royal Aeronautical Society.
Program Outline
We have a strong and growing research programme with world-class activities and facilities. Our research topics include the development of new design methodologies for hybrid powertrains, vehicle electrification and autonomy, virtual vehicle integration and development and vehicle aerodynamics simulation and testing.
