- Research and development in power electronics and control systems Data transmission on the same power lines used for transmitting power offers a high reliability, low-cost communication solution for real-time performance needs in DC microgrids. The research will encompass modelling power electronic converters, DC microgrid analysis from power electronics and communication perspectives, control and management of DC microgrids, and simulations/experiments for verification and optimization.
- Project Details: Applicants with experience across various disciplines, including (but not exclusive to) electrical engineering, communication, and control, are encouraged to apply.
- Benefits: This PhD program offers a fully funded scholarship, including tuition fees and a tax-free stipend of £18,622 per annum for three years.
