Program Overview
This program involves collaborating with Chemical and Materials Engineering departments to develop high-performance coatings and processes. Students will learn analytical techniques to assess coating properties and develop energy-intensive processes. The project is part of a research grant and offers opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team led by Dr N G Ozcan-Taskin and Dr I Martin-Fabiani-Carrato.
Program Outline
Teaching:
The project involves working with and learning from two different departments, Chemical and Materials Engineering, to develop a high performance coating formulation and associated processing route.
Other:
- The project is part of a research grant between Chemical and Materials Engineering departments.
- The project offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and will be performed in collaboration with both departments.
- The project leader will be Dr N G Ozcan-Taskin and the secondary supervisor will be Dr I Martin-Fabiani-Carrato.
- Research at Loughborough University's Engineering department has been rated as 'world-leading' or 'internationally excellent' (REF, 2021).
UK fee £4,712 Full-time degree per annum International fee £26,000 Full-time degree per annum University fees and charges can be paid in advance and there are several methods of payment, including online payments and payment by instalment.
