Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


UK Students:

  • A 2:1 honours degree (minimum of 60% overall) or equivalent international qualification, in any subject area.

EU Students:

  • Same requirements as UK students.

International Students (Outside of the EU):

  • A 2:1 honours degree (minimum of 60% overall) or equivalent international qualification, in any subject area.

Note:

  • Specific entry requirements for non-UK and EU students may vary depending on their country of origin.
  • Applicants with non-standard qualifications or who have been out of education for some time may be considered on an individual basis.

Language Proficiency Requirements:


All applicants whose first language is not English must meet one of the following English language proficiency requirements:

  • IELTS: overall score of 7.0, with no individual band less than 6.5
  • TOEFL: 100+ overall, with at least 25 in writing and speaking, 23 in listening and 21 in reading
  • Pearson PTE Academic: overall score of 70, with no individual score below 62
  • CAE and CPE: Grade C in both reading and writing
  • Trinity ISE II: Distinction in both spoken and written sections

  • The University reserves the right to increase the minimum English language requirement for certain courses or applicants.
