Entry Requirements:


EU home students:

  • Successful completion of a BSc (Hons) degree in Nursing or equivalent from a King's College London partner institution.
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Evidence of recent Emergency Nursing experience (minimum of 6 months).
  • Completion of the Capital Nurse Qualification in Specialism (QIS) programme to Adult Emergency Nursing standards.

International overseas students outside the EU:

  • Successful completion of a BSc (Hons) degree in Nursing or equivalent from a King's College London partner institution.
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Evidence of recent Emergency Nursing experience (minimum of 6 months).
  • Completion of the Capital Nurse Qualification in Specialism (QIS) programme to Adult Emergency Nursing standards.
  • English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each component.
  • Applicants who have not completed the Capital Nurse QIS programme but have equivalent experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Applicants with a strong academic background and relevant experience but who do not meet the standard entry requirements may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • King's College London requires all applicants whose first language is not English to provide evidence of their English language proficiency.
  • Applicants must achieve a minimum score of 7.0 overall in the IELTS test, with a minimum of 6.5 in each component.
