Entry Requirements
Domestic students
Year 12:
Students are expected to complete an acceptable four units (VCE, VCAL or IB equivalents). The required ATAR for international business is dependent on the student's chosen study location:
- Melbourne: 55.85
- Bendigo: 57.90
- Online: 59.80
International students
International students who do not hold Australian citizenship or a permanent humanitarian visa can still gain entry into the Bachelor of International Business.
Language Proficiency Requirements
Domestic students
Domestic students who completed VCE or similar Australian high school qualifications are generally not subject to additional Language Proficiency Requirements.
International Students
If a student's degree was awarded outside Australia, or they have not completed their secondary schooling in English, La Trobe may require evidence of English-language proficiency as follows:
- IELTS Academic score of 6.5 overall (minimum of 6.0 in each skill).
- Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with 58 overall and minimums of 50 in all four components.
- Internet-based TOEFL score of 79 overall, with minimum scores of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing.
- La Trobe English Test result of Level 4.
