- with at least B/6 in English Language ;
Progression Requirements:
- For progression to this programme from the foundation year, students will be required to:
- pass the Veterinary Medicine and Surgery selection event
- successfully complete the Foundation Year at the required threshold grades of 70% in each semester 2 module.
- Additionally, students must have the following work experience:
- 2 weeks in a vets practice
- 4 weeks in an animal environment.

- International Baccalaureate:
- Pass in the International Baccalaureate. This must include a minimum of 28 points in total and 5 points in Biology and Chemistry. Applicants must have achieved a minimum grade of 6 in English A Language and Literature Higher Level or English B Language and Literature Standard Level.
- GCE A-Levels:
- GCE A Levels minimum grade requirements: ABC. This must include grades of A in Biology and Chemistry and B in Maths.
- Advanced Placement (USA):
- Minimum score of 4 in two science subjects and a minimum score of 5 in one of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Applicants must also achieve a minimum grade of 5 in English.
- Indian School Certificate:
- 70% average with 65% in English. Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 65% in Biology and Chemistry.
- SAMS (UK):
- SAMS Diploma Pass. Applicants must achieve 70% or above in Biology and Chemistry and 60% or above Maths.
- STPM (Malaysia):
- STPM Pass with a minimum grade B in two science subjects, one of which must be Biology. Applicants must also achieve a minimum grade of B in English Language.
- Zimbabwean A-Level:
- Pass in Zimbabwe A-Levels. This must include grades of A/B in Biology and Chemistry.
