Entry Requirements:


Home and International Students:

  • A minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree or a UK Master's degree (or international equivalent).
  • Alternatively, a third-class honours degree or an ordinary degree (without honours) or a UK equivalent professional qualification, along with a minimum of two years' relevant work experience.
  • Applicants without a recognized degree can provide evidence of a minimum of three years' relevant experience in education.
  • This includes various experiences like teaching practice, educational development, consultancy, and advisory roles, and positions in educational organizations beyond schools, universities, and further education colleges. The evidence will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

English Language Requirements:

  • For non-native English speakers, proof of English language proficiency is required.
  • Accepted qualifications include:
  • IELTS: overall 6.0 with no individual component below 5.5
  • TOEFL: overall minimum 79
  • PTE Academic: overall minimum 50
  • Cambridge (CAE & CPE): overall 169 with minimum scores of 162 in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
