Medical Pathway Program

Program Overview

Fisher College's Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Pre-Medical Track provides a strong foundation in biological sciences for students aspiring to pursue medical studies. The program offers two pathways in partnership with St. George's University: a 3+4 Medical (MD) Program and a 4+4 Medical (MD) Program. Students engage in rigorous coursework, hands-on laboratory experiences, and research projects to prepare them for further education in medicine or related fields.

This program allows students to complete their undergraduate studies at Fisher College and then transition seamlessly to St. George's University School of Medicine.
• Description: The program offers two options:
• 3+4 Medical (MD) Program:
Students spend their first three years at Fisher College in Boston and then continue their medical studies at St. George's University. After their first year of medical school, they earn a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and continue onto the MD program at St. George's University.
• 4+4 Medical (MD) Program: Students complete a 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Biology at Fisher College and then transition to the MD program at St. George's University.

• Program Requirements: Students must meet all prerequisites for entry to St. George's University School of Medicine.
• Admissions Requirements: Admission to Fisher College's Bachelor of Arts in Biology is required.
They must also provide a high school transcript with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 and demonstrate strong science background and leadership qualities. Two letters of recommendation are required, with at least one from a science teacher. Finally, an interview with SGU Admissions is necessary.
