Objectives:

  • To equip students with a solid foundation in both business and theology, enabling them to serve as Christian leaders in 21st century ministry.
  • To provide students with the skills and knowledge to develop creative solutions to complex issues such as social and environmental responsibility, integrating their Christian worldview with business acumen.

Program Description:

This double degree combines core business skills with ministry training, preparing graduates to serve in Christian ministry or lead with faith in the broader business community. Students gain expertise in leadership, management, finance, accounting, and innovative electives alongside biblical studies and theological training. This unique combination equips graduates to tackle complex issues and effectively address the needs of individuals and communities.

Course Structure:

  • 32 subjects (320 credit points) in total, comprising:
  • 18 core subjects from both Business and Theology
  • 8 subjects from a chosen specialization in the Bachelor of Business (Accounting or Leadership and Management)
  • 6 elective subjects
  • Available study modes: Full-time (4 years) and Part-time (up to 12 years)
  • Intakes: Semester 1, Semester 2, November Intake

  • Core Subjects (180 credit points):
  • Business: Faith and Purpose, Accounting for Decision Making, Business Law, Economics, Business Analytics, Introduction to Cross Cultural Ministry, etc.
  • Theology: Old Testament Foundations, New Testament Foundations, Biblical Interpretation, Introduction to Pastoral Ministry, Christian Spirituality, Introduction to Academic Writing and Research, Introduction to Theology, Christian Ethics, Christ and Salvation
  • Specialization (80 credit points):
  • Choose one specialization from the Bachelor of Business:
  • Accounting: 8 subjects specific to accounting principles and practices.
  • Leadership and Management: 8 subjects focusing on leadership principles, organizational behavior, and management skills.
  • Electives (60 credit points):
  • 20 credit points of BIB 200 level or above subjects
  • 20 credit points of THE 200 level or above subjects
  • 10 credit points of 100 level or above subjects
  • 10 credit points of 300 level subjects
