The Electrician Applied Certificate program is a 17-week program that provides students with the knowledge and skills to work as electricians in commercial, residential, and industrial settings. The program includes hands-on training in electrical theory, wiring, and equipment installation, and prepares students for the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) Level 1 Construction Electrician apprenticeship program.

Example Courses:
- BT-100 Introductory Electrical Theory and Practices: Introduces basic electrical circuits and components used in electrical equipment. Students terminate conductors, install lighting and receptacle circuits, and develop familiarity with the electrician trade, electrical theory, and electrical terminology through classroom and lab experiences.
- BT-141 Resistive Circuit Analysis: Explores basic electrical principles and laws through classroom and laboratory experiences. Students apply Ohm's Law, Watt's Law, and Kirchoff's Laws to solve various circuit problems, becoming familiar with cell and battery terminology, operation, and connection.
- BWC-121 Conductors and Branch Circuits: Introduces different conductor and insulation materials, focusing on conductor properties and calculations like cross-sectional area, resistance, line drop, and line loss. Students install basic signal systems and typical residential remote control relay systems following industry installation standards and trade workmanship standards. Students learn to read and interpret construction drawings, apply lighting theory to determine installation requirements, calculate minimum service equipment size, and install a typical 100-amp overhead and underground single dwelling service.
- WM-131 Wiring Methods (Cables): Introduces the installation requirements for electrical circuits using various cable types, covering the minimum Canadian Electrical Code requirements. Students practice installing typical circuits with various cable types, gaining familiarity with this aspect of electrical wiring.
- WM-132 Wiring Methods (Raceways): Introduces the installation requirements for electrical circuits using various raceways, covering the minimum Canadian Electrical Code requirements. Students practice installing typical circuits with various types of raceways, learning how to bend electrical metallic tubing, PVC conduit, and install cable trays.
