Entry Requirements:
Domestic Entry Requirements
- A NZQF-listed Bachelor's or higher level degree (or equivalent) in a creative practice field with a minimum of the equivalent to a B average as per the EIT | Te Pūkenga specified 11-point achievement-based grading system.
- Provisional admission on the basis of an evaluation of a portfolio of work, in the absence of the above.
Māori/English Language Entry Requirements
- either Te Reo Māori or English
- Applicants with the language fluency to support it may complete their assessments in Te Reo Māori.

International Entry Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in a creative practice with a B average or better, or
- **Upon successful completion of two courses (B average) from the schedule to the regulations of the Te Hono ki Toi (Poutiri-ā-rangi)| Bachelor of Professional Creative Practice (Honours) (Level 8), they can gain admission to the Te Hono ki Toi (Poutiriao).
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- All applicants must demonstrate an acceptable level of English language fluency prior to acceptance in the program.
- English language fluency can be verified by achievement of one of the following:
- New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 5 (Academic)
- IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6.0
- PTE (Academic) score of 58 with no band score lower than 50
- International equivalents to IELTS accepted by NZQA or successful study of a program in which English was the language of instruction (conditions apply)
