Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


All Applicants:

  • Academic Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a Level 3 certificate (minimum 42 credits at Level 3)
  • OR successful completion of the NZ Certificate in Sustainable Primary Production (Level 4)
  • OR an equivalent qualification

OR

  • For applicants 20 years or older without any of the above academic criteria:
  • Provide evidence of relevant knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to undertake tertiary study at diploma level
  • Participate in an enrollment interview with the program coordinator

OR

  • In exceptional circumstances, an applicant who does not meet the academic entry requirements may be granted entry if they can:
  • Supply evidence to satisfy the Programme Coordinator of their ability to succeed on the program

Additional Notes:

  • International students whose first language is not English must have achieved:
  • NZCEL Level 4
  • OR an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 (or equivalent as per NZQA guidelines)
